I'm reminiscing already

What moments will you never forget?

The list is long in my head. But i will never forget:

Painting the senior rock
My senior leadership class
international bizarre
the grammar notebook
my non honors and AP classes
leadership retreat
the freshman and senior Beat East games
a montage of slow motion fighting in the halls and classrooms
the daily shenanigans
the social gatherings
The People

I want to wish everyone the best in what they do, but i advocate and advise that everyone go out and do something. After we graduate we will become real life adults, a scary thought. I advise everyone to go experience life outside the boarders of your comfort zone. Go sky diving. Go hiking 7 miles. Go to the hole in the wall awesome restaurant you've never tried. Go roadtrip down the gulf of mexico. Just go do something with someone that matters and create memories. We live currently in a bubble. We are 18. We are young, we can make spontaneous choices, and reckless decisions. I encourage everyone to go out and use this bubble to have the best time of your life. Because once we leave this bubble and grow and mature there will be no turning back.

My favorite teachers have been Mrs. Mcfadden and Mr Wright - Coach Wright. Besides being a profession Mrs Mcfadden is universally cultured and intelligent woman who's scope isn't just on one tangible thing as it is evenly distributed across numerous topics and tangents. I respect Mrs Mcfadden the most out of the school because she preaches responsibility, passion, and liveliness. I will take her enthusiasm for culture and her maturity with me in my life. Coach Wright was my AP US History teacher. He approaches his class from a business perspective. I like his objective teaching and his commitment to his students. Coach has been a mentor to his students and encouraged me to achieve big in my senior year at school, in grades, and for college. I am in debt to him for the success of parts of my year.

Change and Achievement

I entered high school as a shy guy freshman. I didn't have any outstanding passions besides video games. My clothing style was a good effort but naive, my haircut was awful, and if it were not for my senior sister and her friends i never would have discovered how one should act at school. One constant in my high school career has been my tardiness. I still am unable to arrive on time no matter where i go. It is just wild ambition. I want to do lots of things and activites and squeze them in before moving on to something else. For example I want to wake up as late as possible, eat breakfast, and not speed on the way to school, but this is unobtainable so I am cronicly late. One day I'll sacrfice comfort for convinence but not right now. I changed in high school because I want the most for myself at the level I am willing to sacrifice for. I am senior class president so I hold responsiblity but I choose to act independently and handle things the way i want to. I have become more independent, more rebellious, and more responsible.

My greatest achievement at RS has been the collective relationships i carry with my fellow seniors, alumni, and underclassmen. Without my peers to recognize me there would be no need to accel. I have made many life long connections that I will carry throughout my lifetime longingly. All of fond memories of high school have been because of the people I've been with. I thank them for being there and I wouldn't have had such an amazing experience without them.

Skipping School

I have skipped school. I've done it within the rules and against them. I never regret the decision to skip school, if i'm going to skip i have a good reason. But for one final skip if i were to skip school i would take whoever i could grab, Dre, Alex, Cameron, Caleb, Brett, and the tag along who heard we were leaving and wanted to join in the fun, (Brett) and we would go enjoy our day off from school. The way i see it, the idea would be the opposite of a typical school day, fun and relaxing.

A good night of sleep

A good meal or two

A good time of zoning out

What that entails could be anything but if it were solely me then it would mean that i would get up at 9:43, and head straight to the kitchen for an omelette and go from there. Maybe a mid day movie, maybe a session of Xbox Live with some cronies, then I'd go out for the day. Out to a generous lunch somewhere, maybe House of Asian or Mi Pueblito. This is an ideal day for my day off. What else we do from there is up to the entourage

A Minor Character

A minor character in my life would be my barber. I don't know his name but I’ll never forget his face. He cut my hair in the seat farthest to the left all my life. I was disappointed whenever i got someone different, partly because each barber had their own style and i appreciated my barbers style the most. He was warm, friendly, inviting, and gentle. He was a southern man with hospitality to share. That to me is the ideal southern gentlemen. His small role in my life, once every few months, was that he influenced my childhood opinion of what a man should act like and treat people. A minor character to say the least, but an important one none the less.
