Facepalm

It was two shoes ago that I did not need them

Propaganda lays heavy arm in arm with added burden

Apparently there are multiple shades of green grass

Nobody said it’d be easy, no one said it’d be so hard

A warning sign from the other side would have been warranted

The vicious circle is everlasting, minus my day off and the Sabbath

It cares not for its patrons, its inhabitants, and the ones its designed for.

Curiosity and consideration is reserved for legal drinkers

Biological requirements is the least I ask, the right to leave is the most

Toppsy turvy, tomfollery, and to be announced, that’s my to do list

The monkey on my back only dismounts to climb the looming mountains of work

And only to return. Déjà vu

Alas, complaints run more than the fridge

Words all fall on deaf ears

Where’s Hailey’s flying ice in the sky?

I wish for more sand in the glass
